About the Challenge
Mission Statement
The Green Power challenge is to promote and develop an interest in Engineering and Technology and the use of renewable power sources. It is hoped that by doing this our future citizens, scientists and engineers will be more aware of, and participate in, a more environmentally friendly approach to energy usage.
Introduction
The challenge is intended to be an event were participants will be asked to design and construct a solar powered vehicle from the materials provided and then compete with them in an endurance race.
Entries can be from individuals, family groups or teams of up to a maximum size of four.
